Understanding the ocean to better protect it
The ocean covers more than 70% of our planet. It produces half of the oxygen we breathe, regulates the climate and is home to exceptional biodiversity... but it is now under threat from our activities.
To better understand these issues and discover how to take concrete action, take part in the Ocean Fresco!
A fun, collaborative and participatory workshop to :
- discover the essential role played by the ocean in our daily lives
- understand the pressures it faces
- brainstorm solutions to preserve it
Using illustrated maps, teams will create a mini fresco to visualize the ocean's contributions and better understand a major threat: pollution.
The workshop will be led by Catherine Gorsky, certified animator and founder of Moana Histoires d'Océan.
An opportunity to learn, share and find the keys to taking action together.
