Les misérables
Street theater
For all ages 6 and up
Is it a good idea to tell a story as sad and dark as Victor Hugo's Les Misérables now? Do the dramatic, intertwined fates of Jean Valjean, Fantine, Cosette, Javert, Thénardier, Marius & Co really have anything to tell us nearly two centuries later?
Yes, they do, and we're going to have a good laugh about it! answer Les Batteurs de Pavés. After adapting Shakespeare's Hamlet and Zola's Germinal for the street, the duo revisit this landmark 19th-century novel to create an all-ages, interactive show in their own pink library style... not so pink after all!
Information and reservations by phone or online.
