Redadeg
What is the Redadeg?
The Redadeg is a festive, non-competitive relay race open to all. The challenge is to carry a message in Breton across Brittany, without stopping, and the big winner is the Breton language. The event mobilizes thousands of people across the five departments of Brittany, and generates infectious enthusiasm!
Kilometers are sold to companies, individuals, associations, local authorities... any private or legal entity wishing to contribute to the event and support the Breton language. Profits will be redistributed to projects that promote the use of the language in everyday social and family life.
This year, the Redadeg will pass through the town of Brec'h! Come and cheer on the runners as they pass by, estimated between 6:18 and 7:24 am.
