Three days of swing with classes in Lindy hop and Balboa
and two evenings with orchestra
SWING AND CO FESTIVAL PROGRAM

FRIDAY March 27 :

7:30pm: welcome and registration

9pm: BAL CONCERT: the band "SWING DE OUF" will perform three sets alternating lindy hop, charleston and balboa.

Ends around 1:00 am

SATURDAY March 28 :

10am to 12:15pm: balboa and lindy hop classes

12:30 pm: super U demo

2pm to 6pm: balboa and lindy hop classes

9pm: BAL CONCERT: the group "QUARTET HOT SWING PALACE" will perform three sets alternating lindy, charleston and balboa.

Ends around 1:00 a.m.

SUNDAY, March 29 :

10am to 12:15pm: balboa and lindy hop classes

2pm to 3pm: balboa and lindy hop classes

3.15pm to 4.30pm: free practice and shared time



CLASSES

BALBOA

Discovery level: you've never danced balboa, or only occasionally 1 or 2 times, and want to discover the basics.

Balboa beginner level: You'll master the basic step as well as the come around and 2 or 3 classic Balboa passes. You'll master the connection and dance to slow and medium tempos.

Inter level

You've been practising for at least 2 years and have mastered several passes. You can dance on medium and fast tempos (come around, throw out, lollies, tuck turn...) and are starting to dance at parties.

Advanced level

You've been practising balboa regularly for 3 years and often dance at parties. You're a regular at workshops and always want more. You're starting to dance fast tempos.

LINDY HOP

Lindy Hop discovery level: You've never danced before, or only occasionally 1 or 2 times, and you'd like to discover the basics of this dance.

Level 1 Lindy Hop: you've mastered the basic steps and various passes (He goes, she goes, ballade, tuck turn, hesitation, Flip Flop, swing out). You want to go further.
