Theater: Un Bateau by Compagnie Sans Soucis
As part of the Méliscènes festival organized by the Centre culturel Athéna - Ville d'Auray and Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique.
A child walks along a seaside beach. At the bend in a dune, he discovers an abandoned boat, half-submerged. Attracted, intrigued, he turns around. The time of an encounter and a tidal cycle, a wreck is about to be reborn. Max Legoubé chose the art of puppetry to bring Cécile Dalnoky's fifteen black-and-white images to life, inviting the spectator to dream and imagine. On stage, two puppets give shape to drawings projected by the crank of an image organ, while a musician-noise-maker immerses us in a moving landscape of sound. Without words, Un bateau evokes with tenderness, sensitivity and poetry the ability of childhood to create worlds with bits of string, to give dignity to old abandoned objects, the desire to explore the unknown and the excitement of adventure.
