Napoléon Express, tourist train from Auray to Pontivy
Hop aboard the Napoléon Express on Wednesdays and Sundays this summer (July 5–September 13, 2026) to explore the Blavet Valley between Auray and Pontivy, with a stop in Camors. On board this tourist train, take the time to admire the landscapes of central Brittany and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of railcar travel from the 1970s and 1980s.
Make a stop in Auray on Wednesdays, July 15 and 29, and August 12 and 19, and on Sundays, July 19, August 2, and August 16, 2026.
From the Auray train station, reach the historic center of Auray on foot (a 25-minute walk), by bike, or by shuttle. Enjoy a guided tour of Saint-Goustan Harbor (1.5 hours) every Wednesday during the summer. You can also download the Baludik app for free and explore Saint-Goustan through scavenger hunts.
In downtown Auray or at the port of Saint-Goustan, there are plenty of places to eat: brasseries, crêperies, takeout spots... You’ll find a picnic area along the Rivière d’Auray. Cross the Saint-Goustan bridge and head to Quai Abbé Joseph Martin. All you have to do is spread out your picnic blanket and enjoy the view of the harbor and the Loc’h River.
You can reach the beaches via the “Tire-Bouchon” train (45-minute ride) to Quiberon. Tickets are available online, at the station, or on board.
The Circuit de l’Étoile also allows you to reach the Petit Bois pond in the heart of the forest on your own, on foot or by bike, located 2.5 km away (30 min on foot and 15 min by bike). Outdoor activities await you on site: Ludana Parc theme park (tree-top adventure course, laser tag...), fishing, fitness trail, games for children... You can enjoy a picnic in one of the many designated areas or dine at the bar-restaurant, La Guinguette at Ludana Parc.
Two hiking trails also invite you to explore the town of Camors and its forest: the Star Trail (duration: 2 hours 15 minutes) and the Water Trail (duration: 3 hours).
For those looking for lodging, the Petit Bois campground welcomes you with tent sites and unique accommodations.
Book your ticket online or at our ticket offices. Bicycles are accepted on board free of charge with advance reservation.
