Chapelle Notre-Dame de Recouvrance
Parallel to the parish church, the Notre-Dame de Recouvrance chapel, listed as a historic monument, dates from the 16th century. Dedicated to sailors, the chapel is dedicated to Notre-Dame de Recouvrance. The chapel was a place of pilgrimage for seafarers' mothers and wives who had no news of their missing loved ones.
On the day of forgiveness, it was customary for them to throw pieces of bread into the fountain. If the bread sank, the sailor and his boat were lost.
In the 1980s, wall paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries were discovered beneath layers of lime. The most recent depict scenes from the Passion of Christ.
