Caramel City Carabreizh

Carabreizh® is renowned for its expertise in making salted butter caramel, an iconic regional specialty.

Carabreizh® was born out of a sweet and innovative desire: to replace the prune cream in our Breton cake with... salted butter caramel cream! We then developed a recipe with a uniquely smooth and creamy texture and decided to market it in jars.
Carabreizh® Salted Butter Caramel Cream was launched and became a huge hit.
Building on this success, we subsequently decided to expand our product lines by launching Carabreizh® Salted Butter Caramels, Carabreizh® Les Loustiks, our fruity Breton candies, and Carabreizh® l’Original Salted Butter Caramels. These were so successful that we decided to satisfy the palates of even the most discerning sweet tooths by creating Carabreizh® l’Original Chocolate Caramels.

Today, as specialists in salted butter caramel and remaining true to our original craftsmanship and local heritage, we offer delicious lines of creams, fillings, coulis, salted butter caramels, and Breton confections…

In a colorful and whimsical world, discover the authenticity of our artisanal craftsmanship, where a “crazy machine” explains how our delicious salted butter caramels are made.

The approximately 30-minute tour is suitable for all ages, from 0 to 99, and ends with lots of laughter.

Located along the RN165, with direct access from Exit 37, the Cité du Caramel Carabreizh® is a must-stop on your way to your vacation destination!
Accessible by TER train, a 5-minute walk away.
2 RV spots, electric vehicle charging stations, bike shelter, motorcycle parking, 1 coach spot.

Open year-round (except on holidays), Monday through Friday: 9 a.m.–7 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.–7 p.m.; and 9 a.m.–7 p.m. in July and August.
