Le Tire-Bouchon, summer train

The Tire-bouchon links Auray to the Quiberon peninsula during the summer season. It runs every day in July and August, as well as the last 3 weekends in June and the first 2 in September.

Regular service, stops : Auray, Ploëmel, Plouharnel, Sables Blancs, Penthièvre, Isthme de Penthièvre, Kerhostin, Saint-Pierre Quiberon, Quiberon.

From June 14 to September 14, 2025. Tickets on sale online only.

Prices 2025:

  • One-way ticket: €5
  • -12 years: Free(Free fare requires picking up a ticket at the station - Children must be accompanied by a paying adult)
  • Book of 10 one-way tickets: €30
  • Ticket sold only on board (valid only for the train on which it was purchased/CB not accepted): €6
  • Day pass: €12
  • Season pass: €145
  • Animal ticket: €7 per journey

In order to allow free movement of passengers on board trains, the boarding of bicycles, folding bicycles and trailers on Le Tire-Bouchon is subject to compulsory reservation at the rate of 1€. Trailers are accepted on board if folded and panniers if removed from the bicycles. Tricycles, scooters, tandems and freighters are not allowed on board. TER trains that accept bicycles on board are listed in the timetable.
