"Alla Breve" Chamber Music Ensemble: A Musical Journey Through Europe
"Alla Breve" is an Italian musical term that calls for halving the duration of notes: the "alla breve" rhythm involves doubling the tempo of a piece of music. The Alla Breve chamber music ensemble presents a program that blends classical tradition, romantic flair, and national influences, featuring works by famous composers (Mozart, Brahms, Dvořák...) and beautiful pieces by lesser-known composers (Bruch, Lessel...). Finally, French art songs will be highlighted with arias for soprano by Massenet and Fauré.
