La Miellerie d’Alré manages its apiaries of black bees along the shores of the Gulf of Morbihan and Quiberon Bay. As a member of the Abeille Noire Atlantique association, the company combines conservation efforts with local production. La Miellerie d’Alré invites you to discover sustainable beekeeping, a hardy bee species, and the promotion of its products through short supply chains, sold directly at the honey farm in the heart of Auray.

You’ll be welcomed at the honey farm and learn about the hardy nature of the Black Bee and the sustainable beekeeping practices that stem from it. The life of the colony season by season, its role in our environment, and its remarkable ability to adapt will hold no more secrets for you.
Finally, you’ll experience the “honey trail” through the honey house’s workshops, from harvest to bottling. Afterward, you’ll have the chance to taste a local, ethically produced honey!
