A fiery voice, a soul in motion: Wolfgang Valbrun is emerging as the new voice of a fusion soul, marked by pain, passion, and hope.
Born in New York and based in Paris since his teens, he blends the influences that have shaped his journey: soul, jazz, funk, Caribbean music… His musical world draws as much from Bob Marley as from Billy Joel, from Haitian kompa as from Charles Aznavour or Grace Jones.
After singing for others (Guts, Ephemerals), Wolfgang Valbrun now goes his own way, delivering powerful vocals over intimate lyrics that express love and the search for self. As a songwriter, composer, and performer, he offers music that is personal and free-spirited, playing with different styles without ever being confined by them.
Accompanied by six musicians on stage, he delivers a concert at the crossroads of worlds, languages, and sensibilities.
