Concerts at Coota: Soadan
Le Coota hosts about 120 concerts a year. Like any bistro, it’s also a place for conversation and socializing...
Soadan blends the musical traditions of West Africa and the Indian Ocean. Their music blends Afro-Mandingue, Creole blues, and Maloya fusion, accompanied by lyrics that are both gentle and socially conscious. “Having grown up in Brittany and shaped by this strong cultural identity, the group also draws inspiration from their travels and encounters (Africa, Réunion, Madagascar, Colombia, Guatemala, etc.)
