The Roëlan Cultural Center and the Erdeven Media Library invite you to a cultural event on Friday, October 23, 2026: the creation of an orchestra of sound-producing automatons!
Overview
A fun introduction to music and digital technology: making sound objects, electronics, Legos, and creating a coordinated rhythm programmed in class.
After building their electronic circuit to manually control an electromagnet, the children test the sound-making objects they’ve brought, then use LEGO bricks to reinforce the structure of their sound-making object.
At the end of the workshop, the children present all the sound automata, which are then grouped together on a table to create music with this orchestra using computer programming and interactive controllers.
