Events - Exhibitions - Workshops: "The Arts of the Word"

"Les Arts du Mot" aims to highlight the importance of the "word" in literature in all its forms, as well as in the visual arts (painting, photography, drawing, graffiti, etc.), music, dance, and more.
An event for everyone, young and old! One of our main goals is to create an intergenerational event.

- October 1–November 7 > Le Chat Pitre Media Library: Now It’s My Turn to Read!
Check out the story-listening station, created by the theater company La Goulotte. You can immerse yourself in six different stories, recorded by local school classes during cultural workshops.

When contemporary authors and artists play with traditional tales in children’s picture books
Register at the media library or city hall > for everyone (parents, early childhood professionals, booksellers, teachers…) (200 seats)
at 3:00 p.m. > Le Mousker Hall: Fairy Tales in All Their Forms
Family activities centered on the theme of storytelling: board games, brain teasers, modeling clay workshops, a drawing wall, murals, a book vendor, face painting, costumes, masks… Parents & children, feel free to come in costume!
at 6:00 p.m. > Le Mousker Hall: “Wisdom of the Savannah” with storyteller Ismael Gouba
For all ages—registration required at the media library or city hall (200 seats)

- Friday, October 23
at 6 p.m. > Le Mousker Hall: “Ty Tom,” a Musical Story Between Land and Sea, by Cédric Hergault of the La Goulotte theater company
