As part of European Heritage Days, the museum will be open on Saturday and Sunday

This is an opportunity to discover or rediscover the history of the Chouannerie and the Wars of the Vendée through a rich collection of archival materials, period costumes, and historical weapons. Notable items on display include the only known portrait of Cadoudal, painted shortly before his execution, as well as letters ordering the extermination of the Vendéens.
