Auray: A History of Postcards
More than 300 postcards featuring Auray were published before 1940. By examining this collection, which has been widely used for illustrative purposes, the aim is not so much to recount the heritage as to take an “archaeological” look at the object itself. In this way, we can shed light on forgotten photographers and an economy that remains largely unknown.
