Le Grand R'aout is back for its second edition!!
6:30 p.m.: Breton dance performance.
7:30 p.m.: SONNEURS LE PENNEC & CO
Come dance to the traditional music of our local musicians. A real fest-noz just the way we like it, where people of all ages come together.
9:30 PM: DAVID PASQUET 3
It all began with “Ar re Yaouank,” a fast-paced folk-rock fest-noz quintet. For the past 15 years, David Pasquet has performed primarily under his own name, David Pasquet 3.
From this self-proclaimed Daft Punk aficionado, naturally emerged a sound
that’s described as “électro-breizh.” Three musicians: him on the bombarde with his unique, syncopated style and occasionally sustained notes; the second, Konogan An Habask, on the biniou-koz; and the third,
Janyce Heintre on “sampling machines.”
Admission by donation
Refreshments and food trucks on site.
Don’t forget to bring your reusable cup
