Megalith Festival: 2nd Edition
"Mégalithes en Fête" is back in 2026!
Following the success of the 2025 event, we look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 19, in Carnac for a big, festive, friendly, and intergenerational day.
On the agenda: 5 highlights you won’t want to miss
1️⃣ The Megalith Quest: 24 teams representing 24 municipalities across the region, afternoon challenges around the village, and the grand finale featuring the Wall of Champions at 5:30 p.m.
2️⃣ The Ideas Forum (2:00 PM to 5:30 PM): discussions and reflections on the region of tomorrow
3️⃣ The French Oyster Shucking Championship (2:00 PM–6:00 PM): an event celebrating oyster-farming expertise
4️⃣ Bagad and Breton dances with Kevrenn Alré at 6:45 p.m.
5️⃣ Galileo, a spectacular aerial show by the Deus ex Machina troupe
And also: the Espace Mégalithes with activities for everyone, the grand festive banquet, a jazz concert with the BPM Trio at 8:00 p.m., and a DJ set by Mister Frenchwax at 10:15 p.m.
