Photo Stops
Since 2013, the Mor Braz Festival has been exhibiting photo essays in six towns in Quiberon Bay:
Locmariaquer, Saint-Pierre-Quiberon, Arzon, Plouharnel, Le Palais (Belle-Île-en-Mer), and Houat.
To mark the 200th anniversary of photography in France, Escales Photos is showcasing monochrome expressions of the photographic gaze on Brittany.
In Plouharnel, two exhibitions:
- (New for 2026) “Bretagne Monochrome” brings together four contemporary perspectives that use black-and-white, film, digital, or mixed media to explore today’s Brittany: Yoann Segalen, Mickaël Pouliquen, Serge Picard, and Irène Jonas.
- “Toward the Islands,” by Nadia Ferroukhi. She spent a few days on Houat, Hoëdic, and in New York with the aim of capturing the unique character of these places, which are accessible to most of us only by sea.
