Prehistoric archery
Musée de la Préhistoire de Carnac 10 Place de la Chapelle

Prehistoric archaeology has unearthed numerous flint arrowheads from different periods (from the Paleolithic to the Metal Age) and in various shapes. What do they tell us about prehistoric practices? From hunting tools to warriors’ weapons, archaeologists have sought to trace the history of the people who used them.
Children can try their hand at archery or sign up on-site for a “make your own archer’s armguard” workshop.
During a demonstration, Alexis, an archaeological experimenter from Gestes Racines, will craft an arrow right before your eyes using techniques from that era.
Ages 6 and up—no reservation required
Included in the museum admission price.
