Along with Mont Saint-Michel in Carnac and the Tumiac mound in Arzon, the Mané er Hroëk tumulus is one of the three so-called "Carnacean" tumuli, of colossal dimensions and great antiquity, around which Neolithic architecture was built.
Oval in shape, measuring around 60 m by 100 m, it contains a burial chamber whose access was created by a staircase during the 19th century, following excavations of the monument. Two large orthogneiss stelae are associated with the tumulus, located in the fence of the house on the right, along the access path to the tumulus.
