Kerhillio Beach

A family beach with white sand, it has a breathtaking view of the Quiberon peninsula and Belle-Île. When the horizon is clear, you can see Groix at its narrowest! It is also THE beach for board sports: sand yachting, surfing and kite-surfing, stand-up paddle... A well-known spot, this is where water sports meetings and competitions take place.

In summer, areas are set up to allow everyone to use the beach without getting in the way. Swimmers and sportsmen alike: there is something for everyone!

- Surfing and windsurfing: outside the swimming area (yellow spherical buoys)
- Kite-surfing: south-eastern part of the beach after the yellow cylindrical buoys. Rigging and launching: only in front of this zone, marked on the beach by two "Kite-Surfing markers".
- Sailboat: 15,000 m2 area, from 16 September to 14 June and from 15 June to 15 September from 8am to 10am and from 8pm to 10pm, outside the bathing area.
- Dynamic kites: outside the bathing areas. A first aid post is operational every day from 12.30 pm to 7 pm from 2 July to 31 August inclusive: swimming is supervised.

2 seahorse chairs and 2 Tiralos are available and an access mat is installed for people with reduced mobility. The beach has been awarded the Handiplage label in 2019.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach from 1 April to 30 September, even if they are kept on a lead. Horses are not allowed on the weekends of 1 May, 8 May, Ascension Day, Pentecost and from 1 June to 30 September from 10.30 am to 8 pm. Limited passage areas. The car parks are free except in July and August: many additional car parks on grass paying from midday: 1 €. ATTENTION to the flags, respect the instructions, it's about the safety of your children and yours. Emergency access: A 5-metre wide corridor has been created in the 300-metre coastal strip, please respect it.
