Kerhillio Beach

Kerhillio
56410 Erdeven
A family beach with white sand, it boasts a breathtaking view of the Quiberon peninsula and Belle-Île. When the horizon is clear, you can see Groix at its narrowest! It's also THE beach for board sports: char-à-voile, surfing and kite-surfing, stand-up paddle... A well-known spot, it's here that water sports events and competitions take place.

In summer, zones are set up to allow everyone to use the beach without getting in each other's way. Swimmers and athletes alike: there's something for everyone!

- Surfing and windsurfing: outside the bathing area (yellow spherical buoys)
- Kite-surfing: south-east of the beach after the yellow cylindrical buoys. Rigging and launching: only opposite this zone, marked on the beach by two "Kite-Surf markers".
- Sand yachting: 15,000 m2 area, from September 16 to June 14 and from June 15 to September 15, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. and from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m., outside the bathing area.
- Dynamic kites: outside bathing areas. A first-aid post is open daily from 12:30 pm to 7:00 pm from July 2 to August 31 inclusive: bathing is supervised.

2 seahorse chairs and 2 Tiralos are available, and an access mat has been installed for people with reduced mobility. The beach has been awarded the Handiplage label in 2019.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach from April 1 to September 30, even on a leash. Horses are not allowed on the weekends of May 1, May 8, Ascension Day and Pentecost, and from June 1 to September 30, from 10:30 am to 8 pm. Limited passage zones. Parking is free except in July and August, when additional grass parking is available at a charge of €1 from midday. ATTENTION to flags, please respect the instructions, for your children's safety and your own. Emergency access: A 5-meter-wide corridor has been created in the 300-meter coastal strip. Please respect it.
