3 days of festivities to celebrate the UNESCO inscription of the megaliths!
It's official: the the megaliths of Carnac and the banks of the Morbihan were added to UNESCO's prestigious World Heritage list on July 12. This is international recognition for a thousand-year-old heritage created over 7,000 years ago... and a source of immense collective pride for our region!
To celebrate this historic event together, a festive, creative and family-friendly weekend awaits you from September 19 to 21, 2025. A program rich in entertainment, shows, discoveries and emotions: FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYBODY!

A magical evening at Cairn de Petit Mont
Immerse yourself in a poetic atmosphere around the cairn, between light and mystery.
6pm to 8pm: Numerous free events

A popular festival in the heart of the megaliths
From 4pm, meet at the foot of the Tumulus Saint-Michel for an unforgettable day, free and open to all.
Espace Mégalithes: Neolithic immersion
- Participatory workshops: pottery, cob, ornament-making, moving a menhir, engraving, rope-making, etc.

This final day invites you to discover the megalithic heritage of the region in a different way.
On land
- More than 30 signposted circuits on foot, by bike, gyropod or little train
- Treasure hunts, storytelling walks, Qi Gong, murder parties, coastal trails...
On the water
- Guided cruises in the Gulf of Morbihan
- Kayak or paddle trips from Auray, Saint-Philibert, Baden
In the air
- Hot-air balloon flights over the Carnac Alignments: passes to be won ONLY in the form of competitions prior to the event.
