Belle-Ile-en-Mer

During your holidays in South Brittany, take a break of a few days in Belle-Ile-en-Mer so you can capture the beauty of its contrasting landscapes and beaches. Are you more of a cove or a large fine sandy beach person? In less than an hour of crossing, you have arrived in the open sea on one of Morbihan’s gems!

For a holiday, a weekend or a first discovery of the island by the day, set sail from Quiberon all year round or from the ports of Locmariaquer, Vannes or Port Navalo in season.

Belle-Ile-en-Mer is a vast island that ideally requires several days on site to be fully appreciated. Don't think you'll have cycled around it in one day! The largest of the Breton islands has to offer changing landscapes from the the beaches, cliffs and the wild coast, quite different from its neighbouring islands Hoëdic and Houat.

To get around the island, choose the means of transport that suits you best !
