Plouharnel, at the crossroads of the Bay of Quiberon

At the entrance of the Quiberon Peninsula, Plouharnel opens the door wide open to the ocean. A popular destination for surfers, the various spots are suitable for beginners as well as for the more experienced.

Neighbouring Carnac, the seaside resort of Plouharnel is a must for surfers in southern Brittany. Nature lovers, you will delight in its beaches, its dunes and the cycling path leading to the Wild Coast on the Quiberon side.

Explore the Vieux Bourg, a gem with its joined stone houses, a magnificent thatched cottage, the Notre-Dame-Des-Fleurs chapel and its alabaster bas-relief.

Don't miss the village of Sainte-Barbe where fountains, washhouses, lanes and alleys give this village a unique discreet charm. The cycle path passes near the village. A stopover is necessary to discover the chapel of Sainte-Barbe.
