Bistrot mémoire
Inspired by an Anglo-Saxon concept, the Bistrot mémoire invites you to take a different look at aging.
A place of welcome and support, the Bistrot mémoire is aimed at people living with cognitive impairment and their caregivers. It is held in a public place, such as a café or restaurant, which is non-stigmatizing and non-intimidating. These environments encourage participants to speak out and take action. The Bistrot mémoire is run by a psychologist and a volunteer, both trained in listening skills. Together, they ensure that these afternoons run smoothly.
This event is free and open to all.
