Near Carnac and Erdeven, Ploëmel is only a few minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and from its fine sandy beaches. From Ploëmel, the coast is entirely accessible by bike. A cycling path leads to Erdeven and the Quiberon peninsula.

A place for family walks, Mané-Bogad Park is a children's playground. Ramblers have the can rest in the shade of the trees or have a picnic in peace.

Its golf course, in the village of Saint-Laurent, makes it a privileged holiday destination for "green" lovers.

Its local heritage, its chapels and fountains have been preserved in the heart of the villages. These curiosities can be found along the pedestrian paths that line the fields and that lead from village to village. Do not miss the Chapel of Notre-Dame de Recouvrance and its mural paintings, or the Chapel of Locmaria and its entirely engraved tombstone dating from the 14th century.
