Get ready for a historic weekend! On June 20 and 21, 2026, the Presqu'île de Quiberon becomes the center of the sporting world as it hosts a prestigious stage of the World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS).
More than just a race, this event is a crucial qualifying stage for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. WTCS Quiberon 2026 offers elite events, formats open to the public and a lively event village. An international sporting event
Quiberon is set to welcome the world's triathlon elite in a unique natural setting:
- 120 professional athletes of all nationalities
- Worldwide broadcast on over 90 TV channels
- Over 1,000 participants expected in Open races
- 30 countries represented
- Over 400 volunteers mobilized
Detailed weekend program
On June 20 and 21, 6 races will take place in Quiberon. The start will be on Quiberon's Grande Plage (Kasino side). The finish line will be in front of the Espace Louison Bobet for all races.
Saturday June 20: The world's elite take to the track
The day is dedicated to the "Sprint" format (750m swim, 20km bike in 4 laps, 10km run).
- 10 a.m. : Start of WTCS Men's Elite Race
- 12pm : Start of WTCS Women's Elite Race
- 3pm: XS distance start (open to all: 250m swim, 10km bike, 2.5km run)
- 8:30pm: Big night with free concert by Deportivo (Hoche stage), preceded by Malween
Sunday June 21: Mixed Relay and Fête de la Musique
- 9am: Distance M start (open to all: 1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run)
- 1pm: Distance S start (open to all: 750m swim, 40km bike, 10km run)
- 5 p.m.: Start of WTCS Mixed Relay Elite Race, the most spectacular event with 2 men and 2 women per team (250m swim, 9km bike, 1.25km run). Relay: after the run and before the next swim, at beach level.
- From 6:30 p.m.: Fête de la Musique throughout the town (Port Haliguen, Place Hoche, Quai de l'Océan...) with many local groups.
Organized by TEVE and the Quiberon Triathlon Club with the support of the French Triathlon Federation, World Triathlon, the City of Quiberon and the Brittany Region, this event promises to be a highlight of French summer sport.
Practical info: how to get there and around?
The roads around the Espace Louison Bobet (finish line and village) will be completely closed for the weekend. Parking lots will be available, and pedestrian routes to the village will also be set up in the town. Consult the guide.

Cycling: the "Bon Plan" solution
Take the V45 Littoral cycle route along the Côte Sauvage to avoid traffic jams. Bike parking facilities are available at Collège Beg Er Vil, Piscine Neptilude, Hôtel de Ville, Place Hoche, etc.
Parking and services
If you're coming by car, arrive early to take full advantage of the races from the start of the morning, before 8:30 a.m., then stay put after the last races to prolong the atmosphere and enjoy the concert. You may find it difficult to get into the town center, so use the rear parking lots.
- Parking des Îles (650 pl.): Pay car park, with free shuttle bus every 15 minutes (7am-10pm) to the center.
- Parking Camping de Kerné (300 pl.): 30 min. walk from center (parking only, no accommodation)
- Kerné motorhome park: 120 spaces (fee payable)
- Accessible public toilets : Jardin de Bretinio, Place du Repos, Parking des Îles, Grande Plage
